Matching the paintballs to the barrel bore size is an essential part of getting the most from your markers peformance. A paintball which fits the barrel well should be held in place by touching the interior walls of a barrel. It should not just roll through. Furthermore you should be able to blow the paintball out of the barrel with little force. If it is too tight your marker will loose efficiency and possibly break the paintball in the barrel as it passes through. The Freak XL system gives the user an affordable way to have a selection of bore sizes.
